Trying to understand the complexity of what happen into economic sectors has been matter of research in the last years. The question that has arisen is why are there economic sectors with higher profitability levels than others if all them have the same macroeconomic environment? The same question can be addressed to companies that belong to an economic sector and show a profitability level high than the average in the sector. The paper work the strategic heaping concept and the form how to determine its presence.
