The main objective of this research was to determine the level of technological maturity of undergraduate students in higher education institutions. This study analyzed the correlation between familiarity with digital transformation, confidence in digital transformation, and the user experience of digital tools, the attitude towards digital tools, and the expectations of future use of those tools. The focus of the study was quantitative with a non-experimental design. A questionnaire was designed as a data collection instrument, which was distributed through the Internet to 481 students from different academic units: the School of Administration, the School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the School of Law of different academic semesters. Data was collected in the city of Bogotá. Among the main findings, the positive relationship between confidence in digital transformation, user experience, and expectations of use in the future of digital tools stood out. The negative correlation between confidence in digital transformation and attitude towards digital tools shows a negative correlation with expectations of future use. Also, the research showed the difference that exists in the level of technological maturity of students according to the area of knowledge and their semester.
