La economía ortodoxa supone que las culturas son uniformes, exógenas a lo económico, el consumidor es racional y existe igualdad de oportunidades. Sin embargo, se puede asumir cada fenómeno como algo “único e irrepetible”. ¿De qué depende lo diferente? De la base histórica asumida desde las razones de construcción social de mercado, de construcción social desde el pensamiento antiguo, y de construcción social gubernamental; también de las decisiones tomadas por los agentes a partir de reglas, rutinas y hábitos. Así, resulta interesante desarrollar los “efectos vecindario”, a fin de contribuir a comprender la movilidad social del departamento de Cundinamarca.
