This article shows the evolution of the trial of counts. This is an institution of public administration control that begins  in Spain and then comes to Colombia in the spanish period of our history. In the XX century this process survived across all our Colombians constitutions. The same situation happened in the XX century, when the government brought the north American public administration system for control exercised by the Controller. When the constitution of 1991 was approved this manner of control survived as counts revision
