As tendências da gestão do conhecimento nas empresas sociais requerem uma revisão das formas de liderança nos territórios, de forma a caracterizar as competências e aptidões adequadas que dão origem a uma cultura organizacional que relacione o valor social com a solução eficaz das necessidades das comunidades. Portanto, o campo de pesquisa sobre empreendedorismo social encontra nos fatores organizacionais um horizonte de entendimento favorável. O objetivo do trabalho é avaliar o andamento da produção científica sobre gestão do conhecimento em relação a essas empresas híbridas, durante os anos de 1995 a 2021. Como metodologia, revisou-se as tendências de pesquisa, para o que se utilizou um estudo bibliométrico e cienciométrico, com uma amostra de 157 documentos recuperados da base de dados Scopus. Com base nas leis de Lotka, Pareto e Solla Price, foram desenvolvidos indicadores de quantidade, qualidade e história. Os resultados estabelecem como áreas de investigação futura: a articulação das ferramentas da Indústria 4.0 e 5.0, a integração global dos ecossistemas de empreendedorismo, o aumento da inclusão e diversidade, bem como o empoderamento e posicionamento no meio das várias comunidades identificadas como gestores de soluções para seus problemas particulares.
