In this study of foreign law the author analyzes  French  Constitutional Council decisions  dealing With  civil  responsibility.  The goal is to establish how this decisions affect the evolution of civil liability regime in  France.

This article emphasizes that the global phenomenon know as "law constitutionalization", is presented even in countries with a strong legalist tradition as France. This  article also provides the tools to analyze from another perspective the consequences of this issue on Colombia's legal system, which has been dealing with it for a little more than a decade.
