The studies that analyze political attitudes in Spain are characterized to have a descriptive approach, although some of them have tried to find out explanations for the type of attitudes in events and political history of the country. The indicators used in this work try to measure attitudes and political perceptions of the Spaniards. The analysis does not include longitudinal data, for that reason it cannot be spoken of a dimensional structure of the political culture. The use of each one of these indicators does not settle down in the original dimensions indicated by Almond and Yerba (1965): cognitive, affective and evaluative. The object of this work is to criticize this classification and to propose a model for the distribution of such attitudinal  indicators in  dimensions.  In order to  discover the dimensional structure of the orientations or political attitudes of the Spaniards some indexes have been  created  and used  in a factor analysis. Finally, there is a description of each dimension and the coherence of the relations between attitudes including in them.
