Abstract

The articles in this issue of Revista Estudios Socio-Jurídicos critically examine the role of law within the context of the profound social, political, economic, and technological transformations the world is currently experiencing. These studies propose a reading of the law not as a closed and self-sufficient normative system, but rather as a situated social practice—historically contingent and permeated by power dynamics.
