Objetivo: descrever as diferencas nas variaveis cinematicas da marcha em mulheres maiores de sessenta anos com artrose de joelho com diferentes descargas de peso. Materiais e métodos: concepcao investigativa longitudinal Phanel com uma amostragem nao probabilistica a conveniencia em mulheres n=16 com idade >60 anos, sobrepeso e artrose de joelho, o controle da descarga de peso se realizou por meio de uma plataforma de reabilitacao locomotora medindo-se a marcha em tres momentos com o 100% do peso, 90 e 80. Resultados: Os rangos de movimento para algunas fases da marcha foram diferentes para a descarga de peso utilizada p<0.05, para a velocidade e aceleracao angular nao se encontraram diferencas estatisticamente significativas. Conclusões: As diferentes descargas de peso nao representaram para a presente pesquisa uma variavel que modificara de forma significativa as variaveis cinematicas da marcha.
