This document presents a discussion about disability, social inclusion, equality and diversity based on different paradigms on the approach to social reality of people with disability. From Diaz (1), a reflexion is made about disability form esencialist, materialistic and postmodernist points of view; and about an understanding and application of the concepts of inclusion and equity used daily by entities in their policies, programs, plans and projects. Different organizations positions from the liberal, Marxist and poststructuralist paradigms allow us to understand from where action proposal are made. Finally, the social answer according to Avaría (2) is organized from cultural matrix of overprotection and effort. Alternatives postulated by Santos (3) and Diaz (1) state that diversity and recognition of differences, such as inclusion and freedom, recover the staring rol disable people, their local environment ant the state.
