Objetivo: analizar la contribución de la industria 4.0 en la gestión de la calidad de las organizaciones. Metodología: se desarrolló una revisión sistemática para identificar la literatura sobre gestión de la calidad en la industria 4.0, mediante la búsqueda en las bases de datos ScienceDirect y Scopus, para el periodo 2011-2023, en la cual se seleccionaron 52 artículos finales de calidad, considerando criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Resultados principales: se identificó que los mayores aportes se lograron en los propósitos de aplicación de herramientas tecnológicas digitales para la innovación de procesos (12 %), el diseño de bienes y servicios (10 %) y la integración de proveedores y clientes. Conclusiones: se halló que, en el contexto del paradigma de la industria 4.0, la adopción estratégica de tecnologías digitales para optimizar los sistemas de gestión de la calidad emerge como un imperativo organizacional. Esta convergencia tecnológica no solo genera ventajas competitivas, sino que también actúa como un catalizador para la productividad y competitividad en el dinámico escenario digital actual.
