[APL] Reception of new submissions: to be resumed November 1

2025-06-11

Dear psychology community,

The journal Avances en Psicología Latinoamericana recieves a high number of submissions, several hundred per year. This presents us, at the current moment, with challenges in managing the review of submissions in a timely manner. In order to focus on the review of submissions already received, we have decided to temporarily close the reception of submissions from June 16 until October 31, 2025. This is intended to better meet our responsibilities to the authors who entrust us with their work.

As of November 1st of this year, we are going to await your high quality manuscripts again, in order to continue with our work of supporting the exchange of information and the discussion around psychology in Latin America and the world, which we have been doing for more than 40 years.

Cordially,

The Editorial Team
