Abstract

This paper makes a general assessment of the principal modifications introduced to the Colombian Criminal Law System by the Acts 599 and 600 of 2000. Remarking that the new acts not only do not help to solve crisis of the judicial apparatus, but make it slower and less coherent; the paper highlights some onsiderations about the their guiding principles on substantial and procedural matters.
