The application of new technologies of information and communication technology in education has its maximum expression in the e-learning that has landed in recent years in the studies of Communication. In these studies, probably because of the presence of practical subjects and the use of technological tools, it was unthinkable a few years ago the possibility that they could develop a model of distance education. However, the advance in new technologies has changed the education model and has encouraged universities to opt for the teaching of online communication.This paper shows the online educational offer in Spain in the field of Communication Sciences and the educational models used by the institutions. It also in this paper we try to show that these new educational offerings involving changes to the teaching-learning strategies, which means making changes by the academic community to adapt their teaching practices to the new digital environment.
