The article analyzes the resistance practices of urban cyclists against spatial injustices in Manizales, an intermediate city of Colombia. Based on a qualitative methodology, it reconstructs the recent experience of urban cycling through a narrative, counter-mapping called Mapacleta, conceived as a digital ecosystem that integrates cycling infrastructure, spatial injustices, narratives, collectives, timelines, and derives of Art and Memory. Conceptually, the notions of car-centrism, bodily vulnerability, and just mobility, among others, are addressed. The findings show how policies of the spectacle have been privileged to the detriment of public policies that promote significant cultural transformations in mobilities. Although cycling activism is still incipient and intermittent, there is evidence of collectivization processes and individual practices that, from critical and contemplative pedaling, claim the street as an urban common.
