El presente articulo examina la asociación entre religiosidad, espiritualidad y satisfacción con la vida en adultos emergentes, considerando el rol del afecto positivo y negativo. El diseño fue cuantitativo, no experimental, correlacional explicativo, de corte transversal y de campo. La muestra fue de 833 adultos emergentes argentinos de entre 18 y 28 años. Los participantes completaron medidas de religiosidad y espiritualidad (ASPIRES), afecto positivo y negativo (PANAS) y satisfacción con la vida (SWLS). Para poner a prueba las relaciones propuestas se realizó un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales. Los resultados indicaron que la religiosidad y la espiritualidad se asociaron de manera significativa con el afecto positivo y con la satisfacción vital, mientras que no se observaron asociaciones significativas con el afecto negativo. Específicamente el afecto positivo medió la relación entre religiosidad y espiritualidad con la satisfacción vital, esto permitió apreciar la importancia de los mecanismos afectivos y la emocionalidad positiva para comprender el impacto que la dimensión religiosa y espiritual puede tener en el bienestar durante la adultez emergente.
