La violencia en el noviazgo entre adolescentes (VNA) representa una experiencia adversa con posibles daños para el desarrollo biopsicosocial y está asociada a diferentes factores de riesgo. El objetivo principal de esta revisión sistemática fue analizar estudios empíricos sobre la VNA, el sexismo y las creencias sobre los roles de género. Las bases de datos consultadas para esta revisión fueron: SciELO, Lilacs, PsycINFO, Scopus y Web of Science. La muestra final estuvo compuesta por 31 artículos publicados entre 2000 y 2024. Se realizó una recopilación de los principales aspectos metodológicos, objetivos y resultados, así como un análisis temático de las secciones de discusión de los artículos. Entre los principales resultados, destaca la asociación positiva y significativa entre el sexismo, la concordancia con los roles de género tradicionales y la VNA. Sin embargo, se observa que la mayoría de los estudios cuentan con muestras de adolescentes del Norte global, siguen una lógica binaria y cisheteronormativa, y no incluyen aspectos como la raza y las características socioeconómicas.
