Algunas consideraciones en la formación y consolidación de la ciudad espontánea en Bogotá

As a consequence; the urban process of growth of Bogota, as the main city of the country, has been strengthened in the last decades. This growth process can be explained as a combination of planned and spontaneous actions. This dynamic has not been thoroughly considered by the norma­tive planning culture. The process has generated high impacts in the urban form and a high weakness in the urban structure that supports urban activities., A physical scenario is generated in which scarce land has increased and rural and suburban land is being incorporated by informal urbanization in high risk areas or areas affected by road development plans or environmental reserves. A high deficit in public and prí­vate spaces are created as well as in the pro­ vision of public services and road infrastruc­turc.
