The essay covers four main points: i. An overview of the concept of comprehensive reparation on national and international levels, including victim indemnity and criteria established by the Inter-American Human Rights System and local courts. ii. An analysis of the Colombian context, including multiculturalism, the spiritual dimension of people and communities, the internal armed conflict, modern presidential discourses, and the pursuit of peace and justice. iii. An exploration of spirituality as a fundamental dimension of reparation, with a focus on beliefs, worldviews, foundational myths, rituals, social and religious practices, and their role in managing grief and forgiveness as liberating and restorative elements for victims. A conclusion that highlights the importance of the spiritual dimension in comprehensive reparation within the internal armed conflict in Colombia.
