Abstract

In this article, the author descr;bes the discussion many scholars in the world have over the influence that classical Confucían vplues have had in the accelerated development process of sorne Asian countríes, wíthout af fírming  that the only and real way of people 'sgrowth is what the West ca/Is development. The author considers that the latter is more a hísto­ rical concrete process, than a constant one. In thís sense, she tries to present some of the diverse opinions on interdependency between and the ethícal valuesof particular cu/tu res and sustainable eebnomicgrowth.
