Abstract

From Arendt’s own considerations, this article seeks an approach to the theory of a thinker such as Niccolo Machiavelli, whose relevance is unquestionable, but for Arendt's thinking constitutes a fundamental theoretic. Arendt proposes many questions concerning various issues around Machiavelli, and that is what we intend to show. Among them we find the concept of revolution advocated by Machiavelli which Arendt criticized; the indifference of is Machiavelli regarding moral judgments, freedom from prejudice, and the Florentine philosopher is instrumental advocacy for the construction of the republic.

Doctora en Filosofía (Universitat Stuttgart).Su área de investigación abarca la filosofía moral y política y la fenomenología.Ha escrito y publicado artículos sobre la obra de MartinHeidegger y el pensamiento de Hannah Arendt, sobre quien estápróxima la publicación de un libro.
