            <title>Resumen</title>
            <bold> </bold>
            <sec>
               <title>Objetivo: </title>
               <p>El paulatino crecimiento de la literatura sobre capital social (CS), emprendimiento social (ES) e innovación social (IS) apoyado en resultados de investigaciones empíricas que sustentan su interacción permitió delimitar la necesidad de identificar la dinámica, las tendencias (teóricas y metodológicas), los vacíos y las necesidades de esta relación</p>
            </sec>
            <sec>
               <title>Metodología: </title>
               <p>A partir de la declaración PRISMA-2020 se desarrolló una revisión sistemática de literatura soportada en un análisis bibliométrico y de contenido.</p>
            </sec>
            <sec>
               <title>Resultados principales: </title>
               <p>Se evidenció que los conceptos de ES e is siguen siendo ambiguos y los campos fragmentados, de ahí la necesidad de elaborar contribuciones analíticas, conceptuales y teóricas; formular hipótesis articuladas a los antecedentes, consecuencias y circunstancias bajo las que operan, y establecer un conjunto de objetivos y preguntas de investigación. Entre tanto, el CS configura un campo de más de 40 años, en el que todavía hay la necesidad de estudios de orden epistémico y metodológico con un enfoque multinivel</p>
            </sec>
            <sec>
               <title>Conclusiones: </title>
               <p>Es necesario para la evolución del campo de conocimiento avanzar en estudios que teoricen y expliquen la incidencia de y la interacción entre el CS desde sus diferentes niveles de análisis respecto al ES y a la is.</p>
            </sec>

               <title>Objective: </title>
               <p>The gradual growth of literature on social capital (SC) social entrepreneurship (SE) and social innovation (SI) is supported by empirical research results that demonstrate their interaction. This has highlighted the need to identify the dynamics, trends (theoretical and methodological), gaps, and requirements of this relationship. </p>
            </sec>
            <sec>
               <title>Methodology: </title>
               <p>Based on the PRISMA-2020 statement, a systematic literature review was conducted, supported by bibliometric and content analysis. </p>
            </sec>
            <sec>
               <title>Key findings: </title>
               <p>The concepts of SE and SI remain ambiguous, and the fields are fragmented. Therefore, it is necessary to develop analytical, conceptual, and theoretical contributions; formulate hypotheses linked to the antecedents, consequences, and circumstances under which they operate, and establish a shared set of research objectives and questions. Meanwhile, sc constitutes a field of more than 40 years, where epistemological and methodological studies, such as multilevel studies, persist. </p>
            </sec>
            <sec>
               <title>Conclusions: </title>
               <p>To advance the field of knowledge, it is necessary to conduct studies that seek to theorize and explain the incidence and interaction between sc, from its different levels of analysis, concerning SE and SI.</p>

               <p>O crescimento gradual da literatura sobre capital social (CS), empreendedorismo social (ES) e inovação social (IS), apoiado por resultados de pesquisas empíricas que sustentam sua interação, permitiu delimitar a necessidade de identificar a dinâmica, as tendências (teóricas e metodológicas), as lacunas e as necessidades dessa relação. </p>
            </sec>
            <sec>
               <title>Metodologia: </title>
               <p>Com base na declaração Prisma, foi desenvolvida revisão sistemática da literatura, apoiada por análise bibliométrica e de conteúdo.</p>
            </sec>
            <sec>
               <title>Principais resultados: </title>
               <p>Ficou evidente que o conceito de ES e IS permanece bastante ambíguo e os campos, fragmentados; daí a necessidade de desenvolver contribuições analíticas, conceituais e teóricas, formular hipóteses articuladas com os antecedentes, com as consequências e com as circunstâncias em que operam e estabelecer um conjunto compartilhado de objetivos e perguntas de pesquisa. Enquanto isso, o CS molda um campo que tem mais de 40 anos, mas no qual ainda subsistem questões epistêmicas e metodológicas, como os estudos multiníveis.</p>
            </sec>
            <sec>
               <title>Conclusões: </title>
               <p>É necessário, para a evolução do campo de conhecimento, avançar em estudos que busquem teorizar e explicar a incidência e a interação entre o CS a partir de seus diferentes níveis de análise com relação ao ES e à is.</p>
            </sec>

         <title>Introducción</title>
         <bold> </bold>
         <p>El aumento de la insatisfacción y las exigencias sociales viene suscitando fuertes críticas y señalamientos a los modelos clásicos empresariales y al arraigo de perspectivas de orden económico. Los descensos en el gasto público que proliferan en el marco de los nuevos conflictos armados, el aumento de la inflación a nivel global, los efectos de la crisis de la salud pública (COVID-19), el deterioro del medio ambiente y las dificultades y necesidades de las economías en desarrollo conducen a la reflexión sobre si la innovación tecnológica de vanguardia es suficiente para resolver los problemas sociales. En ese sentido, es necesario ampliar la comprensión sobre innovación (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B72">van der Have &amp; Rubalcaba, 2016</xref>).</p>
         <p>La innovación social (IS) asume su naturaleza siempre que su valor social beneficie a la sociedad en su conjunto y no se convierta en un valor privado, orientado a las ganancias privadas y los beneficios del mercado (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B32">Howaldt et al., 2016</xref>), de ahí que satisfacer las necesidades y crear valor social sea su propósito. La is, como un instrumento de cambio social, es definida por <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B56">Phills et al. (2008)</xref> como "una solución novedosa a un problema social que es más eficaz, eficiente o justa que las soluciones existentes y cuyo valor creado recae principalmente en la sociedad en su conjunto y no en los particulares" (p. 36). En consecuencia, si bien la naturaleza de las innovaciones es abordar problemas o satisfacer necesidades sociales, la IS corresponde a la distribución del valor social y financiero hacia la sociedad en su conjunto.</p>
         <p>Las innovaciones sociales producto de combinaciones de elementos híbridos, de acuerdo con <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B47">Mulgan (2006)</xref>, se gestan y materializan como respuesta a la acción del emprendimiento social (ES) y la organización social y actúan como vehículo de desarrollo de la is, donde se promueve el cambio social. El ES se convierte en una práctica exitosa en entornos con recursos limitados (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B72">van der Have &amp; Rubalcaba, 2016</xref>)</p>
         <p>El capital social (CS), como comprensión multidimensional, es un enfoque teórico ampliamente utilizado en sociología y economía para referirse a los beneficios que obtienen los individuos y grupos de individuos a partir de sus vínculos, interacciones y relaciones sociales (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B5">Bhatt &amp; Ahmad, 2017</xref>). En ese sentido, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B10">Burt (2005)</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B26">Granovetter (2018</xref>; 1973), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B30">Hanifan (1916)</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B46">McKeever et al. (2014)</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B49">Nahapiet y Ghoshal (1998)</xref> y hasta <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B38">Leana y van Buren (1999)</xref> configuran una diversidad de abordajes conceptuales y teóricos sobre redes sociales, vínculos, lazos de creación de puentes, agujeros estructurales y relaciones basadas en asociatividad y confianza que emergen en el marco de interacciones sociales.</p>
         <p>Respecto al ES, como tercer componente del análisis, debe precisarse que es un campo que se configuró a principio de los 80 con la creación de las escuelas de is y empresa social (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B28">Grimm et al., 2013</xref>). No obstante, de acuerdo con Bourdreaux y Nikolaev (2019) y <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B59">Sánchez-Famoso et al. (2019)</xref>, hasta el momento no se ha configurado un marco conceptual que integre las diferentes definiciones para explorar subconceptos y dimensiones. El ES es entendido como una "actividad innovadora de creación de valor social que puede darse dentro o a través de los sectores sin ánimo de lucro, empresarial o gubernamental" (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Austin et al., 2012</xref>, citado en <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B17">Dawson &amp; Daniel, 2010</xref>, p15).</p>
         <p>El desarrollo de los campos de CS, ES e is continúan creciendo y avanzando en su configuración gracias a los resultados de investigaciones empíricas donde se identifica su interacción (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B51">Naranjo-Valencia et al., 2022</xref>; Syahrin <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B67">Suhaimee et al., 2020</xref>). En consecuencia, es necesario determinar el origen, las necesidades y las tendencias (teóricas y metodológicas) desde un enfoque orientado a esta relación, pues las revisiones sistemáticas de literatura identificadas se adelantan de manera individual, por ello se determinó pertinente desarrollar un estudio bibliométrico y una revisión sistemática de literatura.</p>
      </sec>
      <sec sec-type="materials">
         <title>Materiales y método</title>
         <bold> </bold>
         <p>Como estrategia metodológica se aplicó un enfoque mixto (cualitativo-cuantitativo) que permitió un abordaje riguroso y amplio a partir de un análisis numérico y narrativo de los artículos seleccionados. El estudio se sustentó en tres fases. Primero se construyó la ecuación de búsqueda para las base de datos a partir de la metodología planteada por <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B50">Napoleao et al. (2021)</xref>, después se adelantó la revisión sistemática de literatura (RSL) a partir de la declaración PRISMA-2020 (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B74">Yepes Nuñez et al., 2021</xref>), para luego elaborar un análisis bibliométrico (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B19">Donthu et al., 2021</xref>) y finalizar con una revisión documental y narrativa desde la que se delimitaron las tendencias y necesidades de investigación del campo (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f1">Figura 1</xref>).</p>

         <p>La ecuación de búsqueda se calibró siguiendo lo planteado por <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B50">Napoleao et al. (2021)</xref>: <italic>(("social capital") AND ("social entrepreneurship" OR "entrepreneurship") AND ("innovation" OR "social innovation")) </italic>(<xref ref-type="table" rid="t1">Tabla 1</xref>). Para delimitar el abordaje bibliométrico y de RSL se utilizó la guía PRISMA-2020 con la que también se definió el grupo de preguntas para guiar el análisis (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f2">Figura 2</xref>).</p>

         <p>A continuación se presentan el protocolo de búsqueda y las exclusiones establecidas (<xref ref-type="table" rid="t1">Tabla 1</xref>) para refinar la búsqueda. Se introduce la ecuación de búsqueda en las bases de datos Web of Science (wos) y Scopus, las plataformas más amplias, rigurosas y significativas de difusión científica.</p>

         <p>Inicialmente se obtuvieron en wos (n = 270) y Scopus (n = 449) un total de 719 artículos. Al aplicarse los criterios de exclusión definidos para la búsqueda se recabaron 162 artículos en Scopus y 280 en wos. A continuación se depuraron los artículos duplicados e identificaron los documentos seminales y nuevos en el campo, para esto se empleó la herramienta Tree of Science (TOS) en R Studio (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f3">Figura 3</xref>), que permite la selección inteligente de artículos científicos tomando como base el análisis de redes (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B76">Zuluaga et al., 2022</xref>).</p>

         <p>Con el uso de TOS y R Studio se suprimieron 55 artículos duplicados para obtener un total de 392 documentos. La tercera fase de la metodología se enfocó en establecer la muestra de artículos a estudiar. Así mismo, se definieron los criterios que guiaron el análisis de contenido y bibliométrico (<xref ref-type="table" rid="t2">Tabla 2</xref>) para dar respuesta a las preguntas y objetivos del estudio.</p>

         <p>Para el abordaje cualitativo (narrativo) se determinaron criterios de análisis para los artículos seleccionados (<xref ref-type="table" rid="t3">Tabla 3</xref>). Así mismo, fueron definidas las variables para adelantar el análisis cuantitativo en R Studio-bibliometrix.</p>

            <p>Como resultado del ejercicio en R Studio y TOS se obtuvo un archivo que combinó los datos de la búsqueda en wos y Scopus. Después de depurar los artículos duplicados, se adelantó el análisis bibliométrico a partir de las herramientas R Studio y Biblioshiny.</p>
            <p>Como primer elemento a desarrollar, de acuerdo con los resultados sobre la producción científica mundial (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f4">Figura 4</xref>), se evidenció un crecimiento paulatino en la temática desde el 2001, con especial énfasis entre el 2017 y el 2019: el gráfico refleja un crecimiento exponencial en la producción de artículos que abordan la temática. El 2019 mantiene el número de artículos producidos; en los años 2021, 2022 y 2023 se retoma el interés y crece la producción mundial (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f4">Figura 4</xref>).</p>

            <p>La producción de artículos más citados (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f5">Figura 5</xref>) corresponde a <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B11">Wright (2008</xref>; 2010; 2014; 2017), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Anderson (2007</xref>; 2014; 2019), Arribas (2011; 2012; 2013), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Audretsch (2011</xref>; 2018; 2019), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B21">Brettel (2013</xref>; 2018; 2019), Dana (2016; 2021; 2022), Furuzawa (2020; 2022; 2023), Hughes (2007; 2014; 2022), Kinami (2020; 2022; 2023) <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B39">Lee (2001</xref>; 2017).</p>

            <p>Sobre los 10 artículos más citados en relación con la temática, 7 de estos documentos fueron publicados en la década del 2000 (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B39">Lee et al., 2001</xref>). Entre tanto, tres de estos artículos fueron divulgados luego por <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B22">Estrin et al. (2013)</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Ahlers et al. (2015)</xref> y <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B62">Shane y Stuart (2002)</xref>, como lo refleja la <xref ref-type="fig" rid="f6">figura 6</xref>.</p>

            <p>En lo referente a los países con mayor interés y productividad en el campo, Gran Bretaña, Estados Unidos y España lideran la producción y las citaciones de artículos. Las estadísticas demuestran que temas como la IS, el CS y el ES reciben atención e importantes esfuerzos investigativos por parte de la comunidad académica e instituciones que los financian (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f7">Figura 7</xref>).</p>

            <p>Se evidencian las redes de colaboración construidas en el adelanto de investigaciones y artículos por países como Estados Unidos, Gran Bretaña, China, Australia, España, Canadá, Finlandia y Holanda (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f8">Figura 8</xref>).</p>

            <p>Como elementos sustanciales en el análisis bibliométrico se identificaron los términos más frecuentes en los artículos abordados: <italic>innovación, rendimiento, emprendimiento, redes, conocimiento, impacto, crecimiento, firmas </italic>y <italic>gestión. </italic>En consecuencia, podemos reconocer la incidencia de estas palabras en la estructura de los artículos y la configuración del campo de investigación (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f9">Figura 9</xref>).</p>

            <p>El diagrama de Sanky, denominado Three Field Plot, permite destacar las relaciones entre las referencias principales, los autores y las tematicas desarrolladas en los artículos. En ese orden de ideas, se sustenta que el cs es la temática que más trabajos acoje, le siguen emprendimiento e innovación. Los autores seminales del cs como <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B49">Nahapieth J (1998)</xref>, Adler (2002) , <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B12">Coleman (1988)</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B10">Burt (2005)</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B26">Granovetter (2018</xref>; 1973), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B70">Tsai (1998)</xref>), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B16">Davidsson (2003)</xref> dan origen y dinamizan el desarrollo del campo (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f10">Figura 10</xref>).</p>

            <p>Frente a la evolución de la temática, podemos conocer cómo el campo a partir del avance de la ciencia viene reconfigurándose. A medida que los vacíos de conocimiento se van supliendo, aparecen nuevos desafíos y necesidades por conocer, comprender, explicar, evaluar y aplicar (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f11">Figura 11</xref>).</p>

            <p>La innovación se mantiene como un tópico que recibe importantes esfuerzos por parte de los investigadores (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f11">Figura 11</xref>), que además se nutre de temáticas como el <italic>CS, las redes, la política </italic>y <italic>la capacidad de absorción, </italic>entre otras. En consecuencia, se prevé que esta temática continuará evolucionando y consolidándose como un componente fundamental en el desarrollo teórico, metodológico y empírico en el campo de la gestión y los negocios.</p>
            <p>En relación con las tendencias de la evolución de la temática (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f12">Figura 12</xref>), para los años 2022 y 2023 los <italic>temas motores </italic>del campo líderes son <italic>innovación, emprendimiento </italic>y <italic>rendimiento. </italic>El CS, la creación de valor y los inversionistas se delimitan como temas motores y nichos. La <xref ref-type="fig" rid="f12">figura 12</xref> refleja la fuerte relación y la dinámica de la evolución del campo en que <italic>el CS, el emprendimiento </italic>y <italic>la innovación </italic>se circunscriben como una línea de trabajo que viene fortaleciéndose. Con base en los resultados alcanzados desde la plataforma Bibliometrix se delimitaron, a partir del acoplamiento de documentos, tres clústeres (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f13">Figura 13</xref>).</p>

            <p>De acuerdo con criterios como impacto y centralidad se evidencia la integración de tres comprensiones para cada clúster, lo que permite inferir hacía dónde se dirige la tendencia en la publicación de artículos. El primeo corresponde a la interacción entre <italic>innovación, rendimiento </italic>y <italic>redes, </italic>que sustenta un alto impacto respecto a la publicación de artículos y está conformado por 106 documentos. El segundo, el del centro, hace referencia a <italic>la innovación, el rendimiento </italic>y <italic>el emprendimiento, </italic>y está integrado por 142 documentos; el emprendimiento junto con la innovación son los tópicos más abordados. Entre tanto, el tercero se enfoca en <italic>los negocios, la innovación </italic>y <italic>la internacionalización, </italic>y lo nutren 2 artículos. Estas comprensiones conducen a dilucidar que la dinámica del campo entorno a las comprensiones del CS desarrolla los conceptos de redes, vínculos y enlaces; la IS es una dimensión complementaria de la concepción de innovación tecnológica, y el ES, como enfoque delimitado, permite reconocer la incidencia y la necesidad de consolidar esta interacción dentro del campo.</p>
         </sec>
         <sec>
            <title>
               <italic>Enfoque cualitativo</italic>
            </title>
            <bold> </bold>
            <p>Se destaca con este análisis que no se evidencian, con regularidad, artículos que aborden la interacción de estas tres variables empírica o teóricamente. La asociación o estudio se adelanta entre las variables CS y ES o CS e IS, y ES e IS (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f14">figura 14</xref>).</p>

            <p>Para adelantar el análisis de contenido, los artículos abordados fueron delimitados y agrupados en categorías: conceptuales/teóricos, resultados de investigación y RSL (<xref ref-type="table" rid="t4">Tabla 4</xref>). De esta manera, se estructuraron matrices analíticas para cada categoría teniendo como criterios: el vacío del conocimiento, los tipos y las características metodológicas, los resultados, las limitaciones y las propuestas para futuros estudios.</p>

            <p>A continuación, se analizaron 34 artículos (<xref ref-type="table" rid="t6">Tabla 6</xref>), resultados de investigación empírica, que evidencian que el CS es la temática con mayor desarrollo y desde la que se ha estudiado el uso y la adquisición del conocimiento en las pymes (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B69">Thorpe et al., 2005</xref>), el papel del CS en el reconocimiento de oportunidades de exploración y explotación (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B63">Shane &amp; Venkataraman, 2007</xref>), el CS como factor influyente en el reconocimiento de oportunidades empresariales (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B44">Mary George et al., 2016</xref>), la incidencia del CS (relational, estructural y cognitivo) en el funcionamiento eficaz del ecosistema universitario-empresarial (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B68">Theodoraki et al., 2018</xref>), el efecto del CS en la creación de nuevas empresas (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B60">Santarelli &amp; Tran, 2013</xref>) y la influencia del CS en el espíritu empresarial (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B46">McKeever et al., 2014</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B60">Santarelli &amp; Tran, 2013</xref>).</p>

            <p>Otros artículos se han concentrado en estudiar el CS (estructural, cognitivo y relacional) como recurso valioso que ayuda a la conservación, el desarrollo y el éxito durante la sucesión intrafamiliar en las pequeñas y medianas empresas familiares (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B61">Schell et al., 2018</xref>b); como recurso clave predictor del rendimiento organizativo, desempeño organizacional y crecimiento de la empresa (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B18">Debicki et al., 2020</xref>); como incidente en los procesos del emprendedor (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B29">Hadjielias et al., 2021</xref>), y como recurso que permite a las empresas ancladas en regiones periféricas influir en el desarrollo económico (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Bürcher, 2017</xref>); así como la influencia del CS en los costes de transacción y el empoderamiento (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B71">Udimal et al., 2019</xref>) y su impacto positivo y significativo sobre los recursos humanos y costes de transacción (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B43">Marhaeni et al., 2019</xref>). Estos artículos se caracterizan porque el 38 % son de tipo cualitativo, el 58 % son de corte cuantitativo y el 4 % son mixtos (<xref ref-type="table" rid="t7">tablas 7</xref> y <xref ref-type="table" rid="t8">8</xref>).</p>

         <p>Se identificó que las sugerencias y necesidades del campo, de acuerdo con <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B46">McKeever et al. (2014)</xref>, se concentran en que "no hay muchos datos sobre el funcionamiento del proceso de creación del CS ni sobre las prácticas que se llevan a cabo en él" (p 456). El CS relacional que permite la creación de valor y la generación de ventaja competitiva ha sido poco explorado (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B18">Debicki et al., 2020</xref>); estudiar el desarrollo del CS y de las capacidades empresariales de los agricultores rurales debe ser una nueva área de desarrollo del campo (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Bürcher, 2017</xref>), así como mejorar la comprensión de la relación entre el CS y la adquisición de conocimiento relacional (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B24">Garcia-Villaverde et al., 2018</xref>).</p>
         <p>Otras necesidades están orientadas a explicar cómo las empresas utilizan sus capacidades relationales para construir CS de manera que este facilite la transferencia de conocimiento tácito (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B13">Collins &amp; Hitt, 2006</xref>), la incidencia del CS en la gestión estratégica y el emprendimiento (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B36">Khan et al., 2021</xref>); el efecto directo significativo del CS y del capital humano sobre el comportamiento empresarial (R. <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B41">Lee, 2017</xref>) y la respuesta al llamado de cómo el CS permite a los emprendedores sociales identificar oportunidades empresariales y desarrollar soluciones sostenibles e innovadoras que aborden problemas sociales endémicos (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Bhatt &amp; Altinay, 2013</xref>).</p>
         <p>Es necesario, además, dar valor a la aplicación de métodos mixtos para abordar el CS y la iniciativa empresarial; avanzar en estudios sobre el cs cognitivo, poco estudiado en comparación con el estructural y relacional; existe la necesidad de estudiar los efectos del estatus y del poder en la creación del CS dentro del proceso de gestión y emprendimiento; hay una clara laguna de conocimiento sobre la comprensión de cómo los actores de bajo estatus sintonizan cognición y negocian las diferencias de estatus y poder en las estructuras puentes (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B41">Lee, 2017</xref>).</p>
         <p>Finalmente, son pocos los trabajos que han tratado de examinar los factores que conforman el comportamiento empresarial en las empresas activas (R. <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B41">Lee, 2017</xref>); la necesidad de comprender el vínculo entre explotación y CS representa un área importante para investigaciones futuras (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Bhatt &amp; Altinay, 2013</xref>); un conjunto emergente de literatura sugiere que las empresas sociales pueden aprovechar su CS para superar las limitaciones de recursos (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Bhatt &amp; Altinay, 2013</xref>); contribuir a la literatura sobre ES al identificar el CS como factor que facilita el ES (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Bhatt &amp; Altinay, 2013</xref>) y la revisión del campo de conocimiento sugiere que el cs podría utilizarse para el ES en entornos con recursos limitados (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Bhatt  Altinay, 2013</xref>).</p>

         <p>El desarrollo de la literatura en los últimos años posiciona a la IS como concepto paraguas (<xref ref-type="table" rid="t8">Tabla 8</xref>) en el que intervienen factores mediadores como el CS, el ES, la responsabilidad social, la filantropía y las prácticas de liderazgo sostenibles que buscan promover la acción colectiva, el crecimiento y el empoderamiento de comunidades rurales marginadas a partir de la mejora de sus niveles de ingresos, la economía solidaria y los procesos colaborativos. Los abordajes cuantitativos se configuran con base en ecuaciones estructurales, y los estudios de casos múltiples son pocos. Así mismo, continúan los esfuerzos por sistematizar y fortalecer conceptual y teóricamente el campo de conocimiento.</p>
      </sec>
      <sec sec-type="conclusions">
         <title>Conclusiones</title>
         <bold> </bold>
         <p>Los resultados del ejercicio investigativo permiten comprender que esta es una perspectiva poco explorada que viene recibiendo atención para lograr comprensiones generales. Se destaca que los estudios tradicionalmente se enfocan en cada uno de los temas (CS, ES, IS) de manera particular. El artículo responde a este vacío identificado en la literatura, aplicando una RSL desde una metodología mixta (análisis bibliométrico y de contenido).</p>
         <p>Es posible afirmar que el concepto de IS sigue siendo ambiguo y el campo fragmentado, de ahí que sea necesario elaborar contribuciones analíticas, conceptuales y teóricas más vinculadas a la disciplina, desarrollar compresiones generalizables, formular teorías bajo las que opera la IS y establecer un conjunto de objetivos y preguntas de investigación. La investigación sobre ES e IS debe contribuir a desarrollar enfoques más holísticos en aras de responder a los desafíos que requieren más que soluciones tecnológicas (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B72">van der Have &amp; Rubalcaba, 2016</xref>). Así mismo se sugiere, de acuerdo con los vacíos en la literatura, estudiar las organizaciones sin ánimo de lucro y las instituciones gubernamentales, pues estas también producen cambios sociales significativos. En ese sentido, reconocer el papel fundamental de la dinámica intersectorial y la integración de actores en pro de la IS es una apuesta del campo de conocimiento (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B56">Phills et al., 2008</xref>).</p>
         <p>Se sugiere avanzar en revisiones de literatura sobre IS y ES para fortalecer las comprensiones y apuestas que permitan superar las debilidades y delimitar conceptos y perspectivas teóricas rigurosas, necesarias para el fortalecimiento del campo. Además, es necesario adelantar estudios mixtos, de casos múltiples e investigativos sobre CS que vinculen desde la perspectiva de <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Bhatt y Altinay (2013)</xref> el CS estructural, cognitivo y relacional.</p>
         <p>Finalmente, para la evolución del campo de conocimiento, avanzar en estudios que tengan como objetivo explicar la incidencia e interacción de estos enfoques desde sus diferentes niveles de análisis -individual y organizacional- conducirá a configurar y fortalecer apuestas teóricas y metodológicas que permitan estudiar y explicar el fenómeno y aportar en la construcción de un enfoque sistemático sobre la IS.</p>
